14” Bandsaw – Electrical wiring 2

From the last session prepared the cables with connectors.

Now to run the cables down and into the base box.

Working down had to use an extension on the spade bit to drill a hole in this top corner of the base box.

Nearly there.

Into the base box and across to the hook up point.

Wired the switch. The squashed female bullet connectors, with a final push with both thumbnails, mated well with the spade terminals. The sleeves themselves were a nice push fit into the rectangular terminal holes.

For any electrical work I always reach for the RCD.

Wired the terminal block, plugged into RCD and pressed the green button on the NVR switch – she works Smile

Will tidy up the slack later, off inside now for a shower and some air-con.

I was tossing up between a couple of jobs which one to do next but now neither, blade guard on the left is next.

Yes…that blade is close to the switch!
