Just like the batman wall lights I need trace onto two scrap pieces of 10mm MDF the lion and boulder outlines to mount the LED strip.

I was really busy during this period and did not take the usual number of photos.

This one is finished, sent these photos to the Geelong customer and she is very happy.

Glued in those filler strips I painted at the end of the last session yesterday.

Finished installing the LED strip and mounted the car onto the back board.

With the LED strip terminated we can now mount the car.

Working on the F1 racing car in a A3 photo frame.

Doing a mock-up to see if I'm on the right track (no pun intended). Had to have a think about how to light up this one and that looks good. Customer is very pleased.

Al's Workshop updates

Finished the Serengeti Giraffe and made up a more comprehensive grab kit for picture frame hardware and related stuff. In particular those little pan head wood screws that are very handy!

With regard to my Al's Workshop 'Serengeti Giraffe silhouette wall light $60' preview post here is the real thing - A3 size Giraffe nearly finished. Doing another check before final assembly tomorrow morning.

This morning although the sun is out it's bloody cold (again) in the workshop but never mind heat up the glue gun to start doing the giraffe lighting.

Doing a lighting test before we tidy up the wiring.

Made another frame that sits on top of the internal frame that will simply house the battery box. I'm using up the COVID toilet paper wherever I can so we can get back to our preferred brand but wait...what was the brand we used ???

I posted this on Marketplace as a preview of the upcoming A3 silhouette night light. Making the first one now (see my FB posts) and it's sold already.

A3 printing capability - yay

With the purchase of a Canon A3 printer I can now offer larger silhouette lights and hoping they attract some attention on Marketplace.

Too kick off I’m starting with this Serengeti Giraffe because African animals are quite a  popular home decor item.
