Voltage transformers for diffusers

The voltage convertor transformers have arrived for the 120V Feliway Diffusers - yay

I ordered two of them @ $35 total for the 2 x 120V diffusers that Amazon incorrectly supplied. They informed to keep them and provided a refund - happy with that!

Twin floodlight – needs replacement.

Pulled down the old one from the back of the carport, the sensor cover is disintegrating from the weather and before long a squatter (spider) moved in stuffing up sensor operation. I've broken off around the edges to tidy it up.

The light will be fine to use somewhere else and I can make a new cover from some overhead transparency sheet.

Unpack, plug into power and...while I was having a quick read of the instructions Pixie was already sitting in front of the thing – LOL

Power board breaker tripping?

From last week one of the 10A breakers has been tripping in the power board ?

Above: Went looking in the carport area and found the culprit, old weatherproof power point that I pressed into service when wiring the driveway lights to a sensor switch.

ALDI: Tevion Power meter $14.99

  • Measures household power/energy consumption

  • Multi-measuring formats including current and historical consumption, greenhouse gas emission display

I setup the unit and entered our electricity rate.

Plugged into entertainment centre GPO, it's over a month now so should be able to get some decent stats.

ALDI: Extension Cord Safety Lock $2.99

I bought a few of these, simple but very handy.

This Christmas will make three years since I installed a rain tank behind the garage and running power from the garage to the pump is still on the job list!

So I am using one of these on the extension cable – for now.

Also use one on the pressure washer.

ALDI: Home Automation Kit $39.95

  • Control your appliances remotely via radio frequency out of the line of sight
  • Great for turning on the lights before you enter your home or starting the kettle from the comfort of your lounge chair
  • Includes 5 receivers and 1 remote
  •

This was a fantastic purchase, I have four on outside lights around the house and one on the rainwater tank pump.
