Samsung Flow - WiFi file transfer

Samsung Flow - transferring files over WiFi between phone and desktop.

I am always connecting my phone to the desktop via USB to transfer files, so much so that I worried about the wear and tear on the phone USB connector.

The Samsung Flow app.

Windows 10 Creators Update - Sbtle changes.

Taskbar network icon now has a Wi-Fi dropdown box which is good but even better for me is the Mobile hotspot - to easily connect to my Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro during power outages.

Target shopping - continued

Also got this Wi-Fi extender for the ALDI Maginon IP Security Camera.

Patched the desktop directly to the unit for setup to connect (extend) to the upstairs Wi-Fi which is the previous Bigpond Netgear CGD24N cable router. Then went into the Maginon setup to switch over to the TP-Link - all good.

ALDI 5.8GHz AV Sender and Receiver $89.00

  • Send signals from any AV source to a TV or stereo wirelessly
  • Connect to DVD player, cable TV, digital TV or music CD
  • Crystal clear 5.8GHz frequency
  • Connect 2 AV sources at once
  • IR extender for remote control

  • This purchase was a disaster - and I bought two of them!
I was hoping to replace the existing AV wireless system (<--link here) with these 5.8GHz units.

    More to come…
