Ballerina wall feature - Part 9

This should be the last session and we are going to glue the ballerina onto the backboard.

This part is always tricky we don't want drops of glue dripping on the backboard in the wrong places so we are going to cut that poster paper to sit in the frame.

Ballerina wall feature - Part 8

We are using a 12V 5M LED strip which I am cutting at the most convenient 12V supply cut point to turn corners and the bridging with hook-up wire.

Ballerina wall feature - Part 7

Here we are just glued and tacked the moulding to the inside edge of the frame.
I placed the ballerina in there to get an idea of how she'll look - that's good.

Ballerina wall feature - Part 6

Fortunately the weather look nice today so out this morning while the sun is out to spray paint the bnallerina.

Sanyo projector system - part 2

From the last session we are going to glue, clamp and screw the box together.

Ballerina wall feature - Part 3

In the last session we made the 1200 x 700mm picture frame and with lots of clamps around the edges left it to dry.

I mentioned that I was trying to figure out a way to transfer the ballerina cutting template to a large sheet of 3mm MDF sheet. I tried with my 3M (overhead projector) but that didn't work out.
Next up is to have a go with the Sanyo short throw projector but I don't have a screen.

Ballerina wall feature - Part 2

Continuing on from the first session I cut a sheet of 3mm MDF down to 1200 x 700mm

Ballerina wall feature - Part 1

I have some orders from Melbourne School of Dance for various night lights including this BIG Ballerina.

Customer is happy with this silhouette pattern which at 1200 x 700mm will be the largest I have ever made! Here I have created the cutting template in MS Word 2013 and now I have a problem!
How do I transfer that template to a large sheet of 3mm MDF ???
