The plywood top of the box needs replacing.
Took a shortcut and replaced the top without removing the whole thing which worked out OK.
Cut a piece of plywood in the workshop.

From December 2023 I have had lots of Outlook 2021 calendar health appointments and wondering why I did not think to do printouts like this. With poor eyesight I have been standing at counters struggling try to read the phone to check if the suggested appointment date is going to clash with another one!
Erratic operation and then the lights would not turn on when power was turned off and then on.
Watching TV last night and must have fallen asleep because I didn't notice anything. ET yells out did I turn the heater on - nope - so got up to have a look. Ceiling vents blowing cold air... UH-OH
Checked the thermostat and heater was turned off - not good.
Yellow bin is recycle and Green garden & kitchen waste.
This week Yellow is chockers due mainly to the concurrent annual hard waste collection so I've been doing the rounds collecting whatever can go out.
Before the trucks come around council inspectors have been monitoring bin contents to check that residents are following the bin sorting rules - they are watching! Some neighbours have had their bins tagged warning and notifying to follow the rules.
Anyway... went out this morning with another hand full for the Yellow bin a we have - been tagged!
Booked in with local GP next Monday for my winter jab.
Got sent all over the place and finally was offered two sites (can't be right) Ringwood and Dandenong with no available bookings (can't be right).
Ended up phoning local GP which I should have done in the first place.
The loo is dribbling water!
Looks like a faulty motion sensor.
Last night I noticed the front lights had come on...and stayed on?
Went out to try resetting the sensor but that was no-go so we have another job to add to the list.
This was a 2015 project - the sensor is secured to the top of a upside down plastic Jiffy project box.
For some months now our Lenovo Ideacentre AIO 510 (23) i7/16GB desktop has been annoying me with a noisy fan.
Removed the back and gave it a clean out; not much in the way of dust clogging things so this will not fix the noisy fan problem. I suspect it’s software…not hardware.
Interested in this but...don't want to end up growing a tail
I have been 'forced' by the government to have the bloody AZ jab!
We have two home security systems and both of them are from ALDI; the main house system and another one in the workshop.
The workshop DVR has HDD failures from time-to-time so it's become a familiar routine to pull out the unit, remove the HDD and connect to workshop PC to fix it - but not format. Do that when it's back in the DVR the connect a test camera to make sure it records OK before putting it back in the cupboard.
