Mini Batman wall light - part 6

I started this session by screwing down the back panel and then thought it might be a good time to actually test the lighting before any further... to spray the back panel flat black.

Good thing I did that because I have stuffed the LED strip!

Mini Batman wall light - part 4

This photo is a culmination of the previous sessions - but not the end.

You can see how the staples secure the LED strip snugly against the edge of the MDF.

Mini Batman wall light - part 3

From the last session we are going to stat running the LED strip around the outside of the middle layer LED support panel.

The LED strip starts it's journey from the center of the bottom of the name cutout - to the right.

Mini Batman wall light - part 2

From Part 1 we are cutting out the middle layer MDF panel that will support the LED strip lights.

The end convex curves are easy to cut on the 8" band saw. The
concave curve lines are harder to follow due to the width of the blade.

Mini Batman wall light - part 1

Here is the Mini Batman front panel, from two years ago! Went through my lighting stuff and found a auto day/night motion sensor controller with LED strip lights. With a bat this small the challenge is to fit that controller out-of-sight at the back.

Table side by side GOOD
