Wi-Fi Chicken Annexe Door - Part 1

 Making another door this time for the chook run annexe gate.

I stuffed around for quite a while making the first one for the chook run this one took less than one hour!

This one will cop the weather so we are using exterior 3mm plywood.

Rather than 40 x 20mm we are using 70 x 20mm and raising the table saw blade higher to make deeper channels.

All done about 45 mins.

Wi-Fi Valve arrived yesterday so unpacked that and configured - working well.

And... like the others created Routines so Alexa can translate Open Chicken Annexe Door to Open Wi-Fi Valve and another to close the annexe door.

Next step is to fit the door and the wi-fi actuator on the chook run annexe gate..
