With one set of four batteries recovered and on charge for a while we can package with masking tape lol and see how it go's powering the 12V Garden Sentry.
Wire them in series.
Ready to power the 12V Garden Sentry. Oops they need to be male spade connectors.
Battery pack connected let's take some measurements.
Sensor OFF.
Sensor ON.
The DVM is a PIA for DC current so let's switch to analogue multimeter. The yanks call this a VOM (Volt Ohm Meter).
Close to 0.7A or 700Ma. I might put a couple of diodes in the positive line to knock the volts back a bit.
