Garden Sentry 12V-12

We have connector water leaks so back to the workshop workbench.

Cut the cable ties so we can access the assembly.

Circled is the leak between solenoid and coupler. Unscrewed and wound on more Teflon tape.

Another issue is that when the garden hose is connected the tension in the bend from horizontal to vertical tends to destabilize the unit... thinking.

Decided to use a longer connector hose with a right angle poly fitting at the bottom.

The garden hose is now a in-line connection and should not tip the unit.

Hose ends need to be carefully heated and immediately pushed on, don't forget the clamps!
