Garden Sentry 12V - Part 7

 Weather cover for the PIR sensor plus some thoughts about solar charging.

For the weather cover we are using a sweets container lol





















Align the cable tie and tape down for hot glue.












Drill hole for a wood screw.























Simply screw onto the top of the main support post. I also cut out a section of the container to clear the sensor.






















While were here lets charge the battery.























I previously mentioned that this is a used 12V SLA battery, that's why the charge current is so low! Good enough for now... for testing.. I will buy a new one.
