The front of each side will have LED strip lighting so in this session we are setting up to route those channels.

The LED strip is 8mm wide so we'll use a 12mm router bit.

The trim router fence needs to slide more to the right so we'll have to pad that side with a length of timber.

I want the edge dressed to ensure a smooth router run.

With a length of pine clamped on the right run the sander over for a clean surface.

Away we go...

Going well.

Have to stop now and then to move the clamps so they clear the fence.

This is the other side.

We are done with the router.

With both front edge of both sides done we'll clean up in the morning.
