I am fortunate to have a good supply of Velcro so I use it everywhere for lots of things.
This sensor light is from the front porch and is stuck to the brick wall.
After a fairly short period of time the light will not stick to the wall. Two lights have ended up broken on the concrete.
The backing on the wall side Velcro piece will not stick anymore as the actual Velcro grip is stronger than the sticky backing and usually the wall side gives way when removing the light to charge the batteries. You can ignore that and just stick it back on the way it is but each time there is less sticky and the light will not reliably stick anymore.
The idea is too reduce the sticky surface area of the piece that sticks on the light - with sticky tape.
The usual method... align the wall side piece onto the other one and press down remove backing and stick on wall.
