Microwave rescue - Part 1

Collected this microwave from across the road during our annual waste collection.

Primarily for the high voltage transformer to make a Tesla coil but... it's in good working order..

Most likely thrown out because of a broken glass platter.

The turntable ring is also missing.

OK let's see if we can make a platter and ring.

We need to make a matching plate coupler.

Using a beam compass to initially measure the trough diameter.

19cm across the bottom of the base trough so 18.5cm.
