We finished the last session glueing the back frame onto the backboard which was left to dry overnight.
We are ready to mount the doggie onto the backboard.
Here's what it looks like, if we glue the doggie now it will have to be left overnight and that's the end of this session so let's do a bit more and mount the battery pack then come back and glue the doggie.
Hot glued two pine strips to contain the battery pack.
This is my nifty hardware collection, middle left are brass saddles.
I flatted one out to use as a battery box retainer.

Ok back to mounting the doggie.
X marks the spot to drill the hole through which will pass the LED power wires.
After applying glue to the stand offs the paper provides protection from glue drops when I turn it over to locate, lower and press down onto the backboard.
