Prepping to drill pilot holes in every segment of each letter.
With that done it's time to spend some time on the scroll saw.
The joy of internal scroll saw cutting.
For every segment the blade has to be removed, passed through a pilot hole of the work piece and then mounted again on the saw - painful.
Blades for internal cutting require the top pin to be removed so blade can be passed through a woek piece pilot hole.
Holding everything poke the blade into the table hole and hook onto the lower arm with the left hand while applying upward tension with the right hand.
Still holding tension with the right hand slip the safety pin into the blade hole with the left hand then push down upper arm to hook onto the pin - close the pin - phew.
First segment of the first letter - done.
Go through the whole blade procedure again with the next segment - again phew.
First letter done and now I here my name being called out!
We have visitors so I will have to down tools... back tomorrow.
