Batman LE - Part 2

In this session we are going to align the middle layer LED panel with the front and screw it down.

While lining up I noticed some some of the curves on the LED panel needed a bit more trimming so did most of that on the 8" band saw and finished off on the scroll saw. Here I've cleaned up the edges with a 1/2 round metal file - not rasp.

With the thing clamped we can drill the pilot holes for the countersunk screws.


With that done we are ready to start the name cutout.


From now on this is a different procedure to the normal bats so we are treading new ground!


I'll be back tomorrow to drill the four corner holes in preparation to cutout the rectangular name plate on the svroll saw.
