I started this session by screwing down the back panel and then thought it might be a good time to actually test the lighting before any further... to spray the back panel flat black.
The marked location of that left pilot hole on the back panel should have been a bit further to the right - bugger. The result... drilled into and partly severed the LED strip!
This is what happens when you skip a step in what is usually a regimented build procedure - came back to bite. Anyway... bridged the negative rail with some TLC (tinned copper wire) and it's working again.
With that done we can move forward again.
Preparing to spray the back panel flat black using my glass lazy Susan. It works really well for spraying around edges and into curves.
