Still waiting for the chooks to go to bed so I can put their food away and lock up, so may as well prep for tomorrow.
As mentioned in the last post with a scroll saw blade mounted in the jigsaw I am able to measure the height of the arm support so here I've pulled the thing apart to cut to length on the mitre saw.
With the saw arm support bits cut to length tomorrow I will mount bearings at the top of the outer arms. The middle spacer is shorter in height and 60mm wide to allow enough room to bolt the saw arm in the centre of 10mm threaded rod that sits in the support bearings…more to come on this.
The jigsaw is simply screwed to the underside of the table with pan head wood screws.
