The blade (cutting area) is quite close to the front of the table so I decided to make a fold down extension table.
The table extension is from Laminate flooring.
The extension is hinged, I need to come up with something to lock it in place.
When not needed it just folds down like this.
Between the two hinges is one half of a the extension table lock.
This is the 'bolt' clamped up while the glue is drying.
The 'bolt' simply slides in to lock the extension table in the open position.
I don't envisage using the extension table very often, but it's there if needed.
The 'bolt' stores on the side of the saw.
