To lazy to setup a small stepladder to get something down from the mezzanine floor of the garage workshop I stood on the edge of the table that has my 9" band saw and homemade disc sander on it, then stepped onto the top of the sander itself...and caved in the top!
Above: This is the damaged sander top, it's sitting on a new one that I have already cut and fitted to the disc sander.
Above: The top is 30 cm deep and to cut a new piece I automatically went to setup the table saw but wait...I now have a sliding mitre saw with 30cm cutting capacity – use that!
