Racing rotten weather boards (part 5)

Back after lunch and just put up the 2nd board.

Using the '3rd cut to length bord to measure the last one.

Cut two floorboard offcuts at 13" to locate the bottom of the 3rd board.

We simply prop the board onto the spacer at the far end and...

prop on this end and tack with a 25mm staple. Then over (down the ladder walk across and up the other ladder) to tack the other end leaving both hands free to drill pilot holes and bang in nails.

Now for the last board.

This is where we had to quit with fingers and thumbs badly cramped...see next photo.

Moving along nicely and was measuring the location of the bottom edge of the last board when everything came to a screeching halt, discovered there was still some timber up inside the roller shutter channel so no problem we'll just pry that out.
Well...took me 20mins to get all that out and was totally stuffed with all hands badly cramping, had to use the wrists to get down the ladder!
Down tools and off inside for a shower and rest to recover.

I'll be back...
