We do Christmas Eve and yes, yesterday was a busy day in the kitchen prepping for dinner with family and friends.

First thing to to paint the top edge of the boards.


With that done we can go up and start removing the old boards.


That took longer that I estimated cos of the shutters in particular the top where the bottom od the shutter frame covered the top board.


Bottom board is in, I used blocks of wood to space off the bottom and the Ozito bradder/staple gun to tack the board at either end with 25mm staples then put in the 50mm gal nails.


Measure and trim the 3rd board before putting up the 2nd one. Time for lunch break.
