The computer is back from Lenovo - yay Just said goodbye to the Indian DHL guy. For now setup on the kitchen table so I can check that everything is OK.
Loking at the repair report it's going to be sitting here on the table for many hours cos one of the items replaced is the HDD which means a full image restore - fingers crossed.
UPDATE: Had problems and gave up but later went back and worked my way through the errors and at 11.45pm finally completed a full image restore - phew.
