Deer night light - Part 1

New customer has placed a order but I am banned (lol) from posting anything about the job, it's a gift for a special person. I should be OK to post about her bonus night light.

Bonus gifts are usually smaller around 6 x 4 but in this case I'll make it A4 size.
Customer made the above choice so already printed that on A4 glossyphoto paper.

This one will have LED strip edge lighting right around the inside of the frame. Usually I use box picture frames but this one from stock is a regular one with narrow sides - see next photo. Here I'm measuring a 10mm border to hide the LED strip lights.

You can see how thin the frame is. Being a thrifty person I'm always looking at ways to make use of leftover parts and materials from other jobs which is the case here with that black spacer frame. I'll spray that matt white and glue the picture frame back onto it. The 10mm border will be sprayed matt white to hide the LED strip lights.

Mask off the middle and go outside to spray paint.

Hopefully we'll have a clean line when the tape is removed.

Finished spraying the black spacer frame so leave both to dry in the afternoon sun - such a nice day.

Back soon...
