Router lift – Jack to high (part 3)

Router lift for ALDI WorkZone router table.
In the end I had to drop the jack down a lot further than first envisaged.

And even had to add spacer block.

Fiddling around to see if this will operate, I think so...the increased angle of the pivot arms is about where the jack starts to deliver efficient lifting force.

Added a top and bottom plate for stability and replace the 1/4" nuts with lock nuts. Currently one of the nuts has to be turned for testing the jack. I want the rod to turn so need to replace the hex nuts with Tee nuts...and epoxy in.

One thing I found very handy for my particular hobby is laminate flooring so bought a pack of the cheapest that Bunnings have which cost $28 bucks, well suited for the pivot arms of this scissor jack.
