Charlie along with other partners in damage, attempting to get to the covered feed tray, hacked away at the feed cover until it was ripped away from the servo actuator arm and ended up on the lawn.
Yep... it's back in the workshop!
Those buggers are strong and smart and I don't want to loose the jousting competition... thinking. Went for a walk around the garden and found this large pot plant saucer that hopefully will prevent them from grabbing the edge of the feed cover.Modifying a part of the platform to make room for the large pot plant saucer. It will sit between the platform and the feed cover... something like that.
Note how the feed cover has been hacked around the circumference - lol

The main mounting base has been lifting away from the platform because the screws I used are to small.
Cleaned it up and selected larger screws.
With that done we can move onto the feed tray guard, the large pot plant saucer.
It will sit on this corner.
The rim on the right half will be cut out to allow the feed cover to swing into position.
With one half of the rim cut out we now need to make sure it's centered below the feed guard cover and then screw down.
Had to remove everything to cut a recess on the 8" band saw to cater for the angle of the pot plant saucer.
With that correctly located and screwed down time to take a break.
