The scanner box will have rectangular slots on either side. The sliding carrier will be inserted from the right side - something like that.
Scrap piece of thin MDF.
With that done tidy up with sandpaper.
Measure and mark the right side for a handal
Over to the scroll saw.
Now what... thinking.
We need to mark and cut out the negative window.
Off for a cuppa break and think about it some more.
