Workshop drainage - Part 11

 Finishing inside the cook run.

As posted yesterday before I can finish the last bit of pebble backfilling there's some work to do inside the chook run - in that corner..

We stopped back filling here.
Today we need to do some work in the chook run. I have also changed my mind about that post - overkill.

To secure the corner pine pole I simply drove this short post into the corner and screwed that into the bottom rail.

Speckles is not happy about the mess I've made in her home so besides screwing the plywood panels back onto the rails I'll spend some more time in here tidying up.

There are four panels along here, two to the right and two to the left. The two on the right have fence palings as plinth boards to protect the bottom edge. Never got around to doing the left... maybe had none left?

I'm using a eve board leftover from the roof reno.

Last time I was at Bunnings these Bahco saws were selling for $23 - got one.

Scooped out all the soil from under the two panels and screwed on the 50 year old eve board - repurposing is good.

Happy with that.

This section of plinth board is rotting a bit from 2015 chook run rebuild so let's pop in a fence paling.

Cut to length for a snug fit but need a break now so will do that when I come back.
