Garage drainage - part 5

After three days of inclement weather and not being able to pick up tools (downed tools) it's good to come out of hibernation.

More kneeling... need to cut out the end of that angled timber so the corner grate can line up with the PVC pipe.

What can I use to cut that out?

Went through the power tools and came up with this - Ozito Multi Purpose Saw.

More kneeling.

Ready to start cutting.

At this point we need to clear out  some more in the drain channel that will require the hammer drill.

When the concrete was poured back in 2004 excess squeezed out below the bottom boards so I now need to drill holes to weaken the concrete and then chip away the excess. I do not want to use the big crow bar which could damage the floor edge!

Drilling a series of holes and then chipping away - carefully.

Nearly to the fence end, more kneeling so take a break and feed Speckles.

With that done let's put the drain in and start levelling with a fall to this end.

After three days of hibernation that was a nice therapy session. Off to the garden shed to see what I have like ready mix concrete, mortar mix etc. Back tomorrow
