Lugged the beast up the stairs by myself into one of the end bedrooms to unpack and setup. DO NOT do as I do, this is a two person job! However...if you've been doing TV stuff from the sixties then you can exempt yourself - like I have.
After cutting the bands lift the whole box up leaving the TV behind in the poly base. Note that the TV is upside down! I have already removed the protective wrap/cover.
As I said the box, standing here on it's side, simply lifts off.
We are good to screw the bracket thing to the base.
What can I say...screwing.
Normally with assistance you would lay the TV face down on a table or other raised flat surface with a blanket for protection. For me screwing the stand to the TV was a simple task.
Finally lift out of the poly, carefully rotate and put the thing down.
