Every couple of years we get a new turbo brush for the Nilfisk Bravo vacuum. This time Godfreys – Knox only had the display one so got it for $69.95. On a monthly basis I pull it completely apart and clean/service but even with all that TLC the plastic end bearings inevitably wear/overheat/distort. I'm working on a fix for this, intending to replace the eight skate board blade guide bearings on my homemade band saw with UHMW plastic from Carbatec and I'll use the leftover to make end bearings for the turbo brush.
