However...and much to my surprise, the thing is running out of memory ??? Now with this type of Android device the whole memory thing can be very confusing, when it's connected to the Win7 box Kies reports Internal Memory 3.15/10.97GB and External Memory 1.09/3.68GB which is the 4GB SD card.Internal memory looks good with 7-8GB free so how come I'm getting a "insufficient memory" error when install Microsoft One Note ??? Move over to the phone and Settings/Storage reports Device Memory 1.97GB, Apps 880MB and Available 28MB !!!
Only 28MB ??? I've lost about 1GB of internal memory somewhere - how can that be ?
With Android phones most of the system + bloatware resides in internal memory, you can move some of it to SD card but not much. After doing some research discovered that a lot of that missing memory could be sitting in dumpstate/logcat files and to get to that without rooting the device simply dial *#9900# to get to Sysdump and then hit 'Delete dumpsta
