Bandsaw 26 - Temporary table

Friday is cleaning day so got my part of that chore done so I can head off to the workshop for a little session before I take Holly for her rehab walk.

As I said before this is only a temporary table so I can start cutting wood! Found a nice clip-on halogen lamp to light the work area - perfect.

Here you can see the right blade guard that I fashioned from a fluorescent light fitting, it moves up and down in unison with the blade guide arm.

With regard to the left guard the blade was running to close to the front face so I had to relocate it's mounting strip a bit further forward to give more clearance.

Added a bit of additional bracing to the temporary table. Now that the saw is working I can move on to making a set of trunnions to mount a proper tilting table...more to come.
