Working on the blade guide's, the upper set which is mounted at the bottom of the arm slide’s vertically up and down to adjust for different cutting heights.
This is the upper assembly and at the top is the clamping block, to adjust cutting height simply loosen the clamping bolt and the slides inside the block.
Close up of the clamp block, the arm has one corner cut off at 45 degrees that mates with a matching 45 inside the block so when the clamp bolt is tightened the arm is squeezed into it's opposite corner and securely held in place. I'm surprised how well it works.
Here you can see how the arm mates with the clamp block.
Although I’m 6’2” I had to stand on a stool to take this shot which shows the whole assembly including the bearing guides.
Close up of the bearing guides, you can see the lower thrust bearing (pair of them) but the upper one is just out of picture - never mind.
As mentioned the 45 degree chamfer at the front squeezes the arm diagonally across into this back corner and the white shelving track keeps everything straight.
