Continued on with NOAH and KOBE.
Prepping the templates; usual thing first lay down masking tape – with overlap !
Took a while for me to work out why there was always lines across the face after the paint had dried caused by butting rather than overlapping the masking tape.

Batman lights - second lot (part 3)
Batman lights - second lot (part 2)
As posted with Batmen lined up waiting for battery LED strip lights to arrive I have another new customer that prefers the USB version and those two light kits arrived yesterday so lets get on with this Batman pair - NOAH & KOBE.
From the first session already printer the templates.
Batman lights - first lot (part 8)
With all the doom and gloom around nice to have my own 'isolated' good day. Finished another Batman light and...had a postie visit who delivered 2 x USB RGB LED strip light kits for a waiting Batman pair (mum was OK to switch from battery to USB). All that somewhat tempered by the fact that I am still waiting for delivery of the main order for 4 x RGB LED strip light kits (battery). Oh well at least I'm still making progress - for now.

Batman lights - Refining the build process.
As mentioned rather the cutting intricate pieces of MDF to support the LED strip on edge I changes to cutting out that middle layer from one piece of MDF, using the back panel as a template.

Repairing LED strip lights
Dismal day and worrying times with the bloody Chinavirus so it's nice to have a little win this morning. Managed to repair the faulty RGB LED strip that's been lying around since the first Batman light where it went faulty and I had to replace the whole length of RGB strip. This means I can now get another Batman out the door because we are still waiting for last order of LED strip lights to arrive.
Fixed the bloody thing (part of Blue missing) so we can now get another Batman out the door - yay
Workshop Scroll Saw – extra lighting
The ALDI WorkZone scroll saw is turning out to be one of the most useful tools in the shop. It has a neat built-in work light but it's not that bright and with ageing eyesight I've decided to add another work light plus a special one under the table for blade changes.
Added another clamp work light on the left.
