Went out last night to turn on the garden tap and check the motion activated sprinkler and discovered the system has a problem. The PIR sensor turns on and stays on? Gave up after stuffing around for a while and shut everything down.
Here we are this morning in the workshop to swap out the sensor. On the right is the Garden Sentry with the faulty sensor. On the left is another project that uses the same sensor.
Now to open up the other box.
Ready to swap out the faulty sensor with the good one on the left.
With that done just tested the 'new' sensor and it's working as expected so we can replace the cover and take it back out for a proper water test - later on.
UPDATE:
At dusk went out to check everything and turn on the garden tap.
