DIY Garden Edging - part 4 final

Waited all morning for the sun to come out which it did around midday - let's get out there.

Below is a photo of the finished job.

Hang on... why is left stake inside the edging and the right one outside?

The stakes are offset? They (the council contractors) had a problem with the right stake so just snapped it off at ground level and just banged in another one to the right of that.


Dug out the old mulch and removed the rotting edging.

That's the bugger that led to the offset right stake.













Laying out the edging and digging out what's needed to move everything left of the original position.












Need to join the two halves in some way?

Put in two screws and bend the wire around them.

I have bags of mulch left over from other jobs - two should do it.

All done and happy with the result Thumbs up
