This should be the last session and we are going to glue the ballerina onto the backboard.
This part is always tricky we don't want drops of glue dripping on the backboard in the wrong places so we are going to cut that poster paper to sit in the frame.
With the poster paper in place I am poking the pencil in there to mark the location of each mounting block and also tracing the outline that will help locate her when glueing.
Remove the ballerina and cut out the paper around each block.
I can't stop and take photos of the next few steps, with the ballerina face down apply wood glue to all the blocks - not to much!
Turn her face up - pass the power cable through the backboard hole - and lower close to baseboard, check position before finally pressing down and apply pressure for a while. Add weight (cordless batteries) directly on the spacing blocks - leave to dry.
Later on I hot glued the power cable to the back we are done.
I sent some photos to the customer and he a very happy with the job and will collect tomorrow.
