Preparing for new chickens

We need to provide accommodation for the new girls (looks like three) during the integration period. Previously I used a timber dog kennel rescued from hard rubbish but that was years ago and it's been lying around unused, so I put it back out (where it come from) for the last collection - not knowing it would be needed again.

No need for anything fancy as it will only be used for about a month, I'm using plywood panels that I saved from a dismantled vintage 60's wardrobe.

l

Ventilation is provided at the back using a 6" x 9" car speaker grill, again from the 60's.

Above: No need for a gable roof a simple hinged lid will do - with hood prop.

Perch included...
