Cocoon CCTV Security System – Update

Nice weather today so decided to start installing the new CCTV system, Most of the work involves running the bloody camera cables, often in places where humans shouldn't go! Well...we are half way there with two cameras wired back to the DVR displaying pictures on the monitor :-)


This camera (CAM 2) is mounted on the dining room corner.


This is CAM 1 which overlooks the front gates and the driveway.


Looks like I will need to do a bit of branch lopping.


This is where I always setup the ladder, the front yard is raised so led rungs to climb - not so scary.


This is currently CAM 4 and it's just taped to the top of a stepladder with it's cable dangling from the roof so I can get a feel for this camera position.


The new camera cables are coming down a well used track on the balcony side of this lounge window.


On the left behind the old Ikea desk lamp you can see the bunch of hanging cables right next to the new DVR unit.
