Copy Modes

  Note: The capacity allocated to USB copying on to the hard drive is limited to 10% of the hard drive capacity. The other %10 is allocated for Timeshifting, and 80% for general recording tasks.
  
• DVD-to-HDD | HDD-to-DVD - You can copy data files back and forth between the hard drive and DVD discs

Purchased this from Radio Parts in East Malvern about 4 years ago. Excellent unit with bug-free firmware. One of my first jobs was to dub all the VHS home videos to DVD; took a couple of months and consumed 22 DVD's. I have this DVR connected to the Foxtel STB. The front panel Firewire gets a lot of use; just connect the Canon camcorder, dub to HDD and edit as needed and high speed dub to DVD.
