That was put out for hard waste collection in the Rowville area somehow found it's way into the back of my KIA Pregio van and into the Meadowbrook Mansion workshop.

Perfect for the just completed 8” bandsaw.

14” Bandsaw - New Project

Just finished the 8” bandsaw and decided to build another 14" bandsaw to replace the one lost in the 2016 shed fire that took around 7 months to build.

I will be using the 8" bandsaw (see previous posts) to build this one. To get started went looking for and found enough Melamine particleboard (16mm) to cut 4 x 14" discs which will make 2 wheels each 32mm wide - more on this later.

We need to cut 4 of these on the mini band saw so start by trimming them on the table saw.

Finished off the lower blade guide assembly.

Put the table back on to do some test cutting.

With bearing guides above and now below the table the blade should hold it's course even better on the cut line.

Back to the bandsaw, we still need to do the lower bearing guides. With the table removed sit and think for a while...thinking.
