Continuing on with the back panel we are prepping to cut out the battery recess hole.

Batman LE - Part 12

From the last session we made some errors when transferring the outline onto the MF blank so now we have to do some more trimming.

Winter jab is booked.

Booked in with local GP next Monday for my winter jab.

Started by doing the usual thing and went to the Vic Gov website; on this occasion that was a mistake!

Got sent all over the place and finally was offered two sites (can't be right) Ringwood and Dandenong  with no available bookings (can't be right).

Ended up phoning local GP which I should have done in the first place.

Batman LE - Part 11

 From the last session I screwed the LED panel onto the (now) flat black front panel and just realised something - bugger!

Before installing the LED strip lights I should have used the LED panel as a template to mark the outline on a 3mm MDF blank for the back panel.

Miserable weather today

 

To cold for spending time in the workshop today so here I am on the desktop doing some blogging, like this post.

Batman LE part 10

The only thing we managed to do today was spray the front panel and the name plate.

The weak sun came out about four-o-clock so dashed out to prep for spray painting.

Batman LE - Part 9

From the last session the LED strip ended up about 100mm short of the end.

I have RGB strip off cuts so used one to extend the strip. In the video you can see the sticky tape holding down the join for soldering the strip ends.
