Al's Workshop - International orders
With regard to the UK Batman order just checked postage to UK and it's under $30, not bad considering I've been posting Batman to country folks happy to pay the $20 for postage.
So...with agreement about the current state of affairs I'll take her order shipped without batteries and need to check if Bunnings MDF timber will pass through customs etc....LOL

Chinavirus - Holly guarding the front gates!
Start of new restrictions and self-isolation. No entry to visitors (posties exempt) but...depending on the mood of the residents you may be invited to stay...on the other side of the high gates to chat via video intercom and refreshments may be passed under the gates (don't count on that).
Holly happy to be out on extra guard duty.

Batman lights - first lot (part 6)
Still waiting for the LED strip lights to arrive in the meantime prepping everything up to that lighting stage. Also doing some thinking..due to the unique shape and compact layout these lights require more effort and dexterity to build. The main issue is that the LED strip lights on edge require additional support. Hot glue doesn't work and is risky so I end up cutting and shaping intricate pieces of MDF to support the LED strip which are the hot glued down. Then I cut and bend narrow crown staples into a U shape to hole the LED strip...phew.
