For those who have, or thinking of getting the Telstra TV2 puck you can now simply add Netflix to your bundled account. Personally I don’t like any of the streaming stuff and prefer the movies package that is a part of my Foxtel from Telstra bundle.

14” Bandsaw – Bearing flanges
After cutting the Melamine wheels the next job is to make the flanges to mount the bearings.
The bearing flange (four of them) looks like this, the 6205 2RS bearing has a OD of 52 mm so I need a hole size a bit under that as the bearing must be a press fit. Currently the only hole saw set I have is cheap one from the market for $15. The set does have a 51 mm but I suspect it's going to bore a hole that's to large.

14” Bandsaw – Motor for saw
This is the motor I will be using, a 1200W unit from a ALDI GardenLine water pump.
I would love to buy one of their motors as well but a 1.5HP 4 pole is around $200 dollars.

14” Bandsaw - New Project
Just finished the 8” bandsaw and decided to build another 14" bandsaw to replace the one lost in the 2016 shed fire that took around 7 months to build.
I will be using the 8" bandsaw (see previous posts) to build this one. To get started went looking for and found enough Melamine particleboard (16mm) to cut 4 x 14" discs which will make 2 wheels each 32mm wide - more on this later.
