The original blade guide assembly did the job but looked a bit ugly so here is Version 2.0 with integrated height adjustment!
Version 1.0
Continuing on from the last session we have the jigsaw mounted upside down in the box with the blade poking out the top. Now we need some sort of blade guide support arm that will minimize the blade flexing, in particular on curved cuts.
Went looking for ideas through all the hardware stuff and paused with a Double Roller Catch in the palm of my hand…thinking.
Went back to ALDI to do some more shopping LOL and got the work light. Yeah...it's very well made with two circular rows of LED's (72 in all) that provides ample lighting. Same for the magnifying lens, clear magnification with no noticeable distortion.
Early start this morning (for us retirees) with ET to get to our local ALDI so we don't miss out on the sewing machine and table. We were 2nd in line with a nice lady in front of us, she and the guy behind us were all after the same stuff. ET went for the machine and I the table which is 42.5kg, gave the lady a hand with hers and in doing so lost ground as other crowded in behind me but pushed back in and grabbed one assisted by the fact they could not lift the boxes. Later gave the lady in front of us a hand to load her car - my good deed for the year.
Brought my Makita 6012HD 9.6V battery drill back to life!
As with most NiCad's of this vintage the 9.6V battery pack will not accept a charge.
It sill takes a charge so let's run the Makita off that via clip leads.
