Swann SecuraView - Home & Business CCTV Security Monitoring Kit $50

  • Everything you need in 1 box!
  • Camera has clear B&W image resolution
  • 9ft (3m) infra-red night vision
  • Connect to your existing VCR for recording
  • Camera with 60ft (18m) AV cable for easy connection to monitor
  • Easy do-it-yourself installation
  • Monitor your home or business

Purchased two of these online at Officeworks as clearance items for $50 plus a extra 18M AV cable for $8 bucks – free delivery. This was my first online purchase with Officeworks and they screwed up my order – more about this later.

Besides the obvious home security scenarios my plan is to monitor our four bantams (yes chickens) while the roam the back and front yards. Not long ago we had a nasty incident in the back yard where two crows butchered a turtle dove.

Found the chooks huddled under the bay leaf tree, and last year we arrived home to discover one of the Wyandottes had been attacked by something, we think magpies protecting their young. Spring is silly season for many animals and birds and swooping maggies are in the news again so I am intending to use the CCTV system to keep an eye on the outside yard.

  1. HI Mate,

Are you looking to offload any of the above items?

Looking to track down the monitors for a Melbourne retail chain

  2. Hi Andrew,

I have the SecuraView cameras connected directly to a PC based CCTV-DVR so not currently using the monitors...but want to hang onto them.

    Cheers
