Rough Collie on stand - part 3

After trimming off excess on the 8" band saw we are ready for a laborious session on the scroll saw. This will take over one hour and any mistake, one seniors moment and we will have to start all over again. I can't cross my fingers so the toes are crossed.

Router jig for freestanding night lights

From now on I'll cut a decorative corner edge on the base of the stand.
This stuff is tricky on small workpieces so we need to work out a procedure that can be replicated.

Here are the basic parts for the stand type night light with the base at the bottom of the photo.

Nice wooden stool from Salvos

The stool was falling apart with a price tag of $5 bucks - grab that. All it needed was a Allen key to tighten the furniture bolts...

Al's Workshop - another customer order.

This one a Rough Collie on stand which is popular with dog clubs (and members) cos this model is the most suitable on a trophy shelf or as competition prizes.

Passive Metal Detector - Magnets

The order for 2 X Strong Block Bar Strip Cuboid Magnets Rare Earth Neodymium 100 x 10 x 5mm N42...has arrived. This will be Version 2.0 of my speaker magnet metal detector (see post link below for Version 1.0) and will look like a golf putter - lol

They are so strong I CAN NOT directly pull them apart when parked in their keeper. Have to twist/slide at one end the open them like a compass to pull apart.

Another new toy for kitties.
