Golden Retriever night light - Part 6

Mock-up with masking tape to get the best lighting effect.

Photo of doggie under the work bench where it's a bit darker to see the effect.

Looks good. Next session we can heat up the glue gun.

Back soon...

Looks good.

Golden Retriever night light - Part 5

Preparing to wire the doggie but wait; we haven't done the spray painting - duh.

Ordered another LED strip light with controller and again while waiting for that to arrive will swap the coloured lights on this $3 fairly light from the market over to white LED's - so I cam keep moving.

Now... where's the spray paint.

With that done I'll now have to wait till tomorrow morning to start the wiring.

Not to worry...

Golden Retriever night light - Part 3

Made the frame that sits inside the back of the picture frame and cut out the doggie pattern on the scroll saw.

Prepared a 3mm MDF blank from scrap for for the pattern.

Using a new trick, applied masking tape to the blank then stuck on the pattern. Pattern easily removed after cutting is done.

Then applied Blue Stik to the whole thing and stuck on the pattern.

As mentioned need to make a frame that sits inside the back of the main frame that is then glued to the back of the base board.

Here the frame is glued to the back board.

While that's drying…

start cutting the doggie on the scroll saw.

Phew…that's done, going out for tea so better quit now - back in the morning.

Another new toy for kitties.
